Andrew Laumann is an American image-maker very much in the shadow of the cannon that is Ryan McGinley/Ari Marcopoulos/Et Al. Similarly, nearly all share the breadth of captured moments—active/tranquil, nostalgic/grotesque, etc.—though as a successor, it seems he is differentially (and deferentially) more concerned with environments than subjects.
