Although this was blogged about a lot last month, this really needs a post.
This is a window display By Tokujin Yoshioka for the Hermés store in Tokyo. The installation went on display at the end of November and is up until the end of January (10). Tokujin's work slips between design (in the broadest sense) and art; a lot of his work is considered as 'art' for its innovation, yet sits very comfortably as product design, furniture, installation etc. Tokujin designed under Issey Miake for a long period and has also produced some very innovative work for other companies in a variation of disciplines. His work is held in The MoMA, The Pompidou centre and The V&A. Click HERE to go to Tokujin's site to veiw more work.
