Idea Books is a fantastic pop-up book shop in London that sells classic design, photography, fashion and culture magazines and books. It's such an interesting place to visit; there's a great deal of iconic fashion/design publications to look through that just don't get seen all in one place that often. Idea books is owned by David Owen and Angela Hill, who also supply books to Dover Street Market and Colette. It opened on June 1st and closes in a weeks time on August 27th. Open till 10pm everyday except Sunday and Monday. Definitely worth a visit if you're around London next week.

It looks as if Vitsœ (Dieter Rams) has provided all of the interior displays for the shop, including THIS (620) chair which I had never seen before. A very nice lounger/loveseat largely overlooked by design 'historians', yet could aptly be compared to the archetype of the era, the Eames Lounger.
