Real people

Real People is a magazine that was published in San Sebastian in 06'.
It's published and edited by Antonio Marcarra and Gorka Sorozabal.
The magazine contains a manifesto made up of a couple of pieces of writing, translated into about 5 different languages, and then sets of photographs from different artists.
Setting up a magazine like a hardback book creates a real satisfying object; I think it's something to do with the combination of the format with the content. You open it up expecting just type and get pages of photographs.
The new issue is due out now but i haven't seen it around.
It's available from B store in London.

I hope the entire "magazine" is black and white...or rather, black and ivory-esque paper. It would also be nice to see a classic "plates" section in future issues; maybe with a bit higher quality paper.

Awesome find.
